About

Virgobit's Real-time ERP Visualization App is a groundbreaking mobile solution that brings innovation to the field of EEG signal processing. This application allows users to seamlessly receive and process multichannel EEG signals, providing real-time insights into Evoked Response Potentials (ERPs). With features like LSL Protocol Integration, Dynamic Stream Switching, Custom Averaging, and Dual Plots, the app caters to researchers, university professors, students, and anyone intrigued by the fascinating world of brainwave analysis.

    Goals

  • 1. Multichannel EEG Signals: The goal was to create a platform that seamlessly receives and processes multichannel EEG signals, enabling users to engage with ERP data in real-time.
  • 2. LSL Protocol Integration: Real-time synchronization with the Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) protocol was essential for both EEG signals and markers, ensuring accurate and synchronized data for comprehensive analysis.
  • 3. Dynamic Stream Switching: The app addresses the need for easily switching between different LSL streams on the fly, providing users with flexibility and adaptability during EEG signal processing.
  • 4. Dual Plots: The inclusion of two dynamic plots that showcase the average of the current trial and the average of the previous trials serves the goal of providing comprehensive insights into ERP data.
  • 5. Custom Averaging: The goal was to allow users to define and customize channel averaging, providing a tailored approach to analysis and ensuring that the app meets the diverse needs of researchers and educators.
  • 6. Educational Tool: By positioning the app as an educational tool for university classes in EEG signal processing and related disciplines, Virgobit aims to contribute to the academic community and support the learning needs of students and professors.
